Toti (a Zulu word meaning “sweet”) is a family run business, operating from Melbourne, Australia. Toti Handcrafted Accessories only stocks items (predominantly ladies accessories) which are made by hand, by skilled Artisans and Designers, from around the globe. We are always in search of unique items to stock, so check back often.


 

The Toti range of bags, baskets and hats are hand-made in small home industries and women’s co-operatives in local villages in and around Madagascar. These uniquely handcrafted products are made from local raw materials, gathered by hand, to produce the materials for bags. The products are then designed and coloured with the use of dyes from local plants and roots. All materials are naturally grown and produced, and again replanted to promote an eco-friendly working environment and finished product. The process of harvesting, weaving and dying are skills developed and handed down through the generations.
